Internet Marketing During COVID-19

Joe will discuss the roles of Search Engine Optimization; Pay Per Click Advertising; Email Marketing; Google My Business and Social Media to generate referrals during the COVID-19 crisis. Examples will be given from actual campaigns in each of these areas to demonstrate how to deal with reductions in referrals during this time, and how to plan your marketing for the rest of 2020.

Speaker Biography:

Joe Bavonese, PhD, is the owner of Uncommon Practices, a business that has helped hundreds of therapists build successful practices and CEO of The Relationship Institute, with three locations and 26 therapists. Since 2001, Joe’s approach to private practice marketing has been highlighted in numerous national publications and conferences. Joe has written five articles on the business of private practice for Psychotherapy Networker magazine, including a feature article in the July/August 2007 issue of Psychotherapy Networker. Joe has also given numerous presentations on business and marketing for private practice at professional conferences, including the American Psychological Association; the California Psychological Association; the Massachusetts Psychological Association; the New Hampshire Psychological Association; the Oregon Counseling Association; Psychotherapy Networker (11 times); National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine; the National Alliance of Professional Psychology Providers; and the Direct Marketing Association.

In 2009, Joe started the first Group Practice training program exclusively designed for psychotherapists and counselors in private practice, and since then has coached over 200 people in Group Practice principles, both individually and in groups.
