Welcome solo and group practice owners! We are Liath Dalton and Roy Huggins, your co-hosts of Person Centered Tech.

Today’s episode is focused on Telemental Health. You’ve probably heard of the benefits of telemental health (if you haven’t, listen to episode 105!), but how do you actually go about implementing it in your practice?

Telemental Health is an Opportunity Zone – it can open up opportunities for therapy practices, especially group practices, but it is a bit more complicated than just picking a video conferencing software. Our focus this week is on creating a proactive and intentional telemental health program in our group practice. We discuss the basic needs of a telemental health program, the tools you’ll need to use, and steps to take to get a program up and running. Perhaps more importantly, we talk about the real key to a successful telemental health program – competence in whatever program you are going to use.

As always, we take a deep dive into how to incorporate technology into your therapy practice, while still paying careful attention to the legal and ethical requirements that therapists are bound by.

Stay tuned for future episodes!
