Cancellations and Refunds For Person-Centered Tech Events

Cancellations will be accepted and payments refunded in full up to two (2) weeks prior to any training event.

Following two weeks prior to the event, a credit for future trainings matching the amount already paid for that event’s registration will be given to registrants who cancel their registration, for whatever reason, up to two (2) days prior to the event date. This credit can only be applied to one future training, regardless of its cost. If the cost of the future training is less than the amount paid, the difference will be lost. If the cost of the future training is greater than the credit, then the balance will become due at registration time.

Example: Bob is registered for a Saturday training. He has already paid the early registration fee of $60. A family emergency arises in the week before the training and he realizes he won’t be able to make it. Bob makes contact with a Person-Centered Tech representative and confirms his cancellation before Thursday (two days prior to Saturday), and thus is given a $60 credit for future trainings. He later decides to use his credit on a longer training whose early registration fee is $90. Bob then pays the balance of $30 when he registers for that event.

As an alternative to a refund or credit, registrants may transfer their registration to another individual so long as they do so while they still qualify for the refund or credit.

If a registrant cancels or no-shows within two days of the event date, a refund will not be given. We understand that illness sometimes arises at the last minute. This situation is very regrettable and it was difficult for us to make this policy, but our trainings sometimes sell out and those who were unable to get a seat often ask to be put on waiting lists. Most people, even if they asked to be placed on a waiting list, are unable to attend a multi-hour training without at least a couple days’ notice.
