You’ve probably seen the headlines about Medicare’s “telehealth cliff.” The truth is more nuanced — and less alarming — but still important for your practice. Teletherapy for behavioral health isn’t disappearing, but Medicare’s rules around in-person visits and reimbursement are [potentially] shifting and in a state of limbo.

And here’s the catch: Congress may extend the current flexibilities, may let them expire, or may leave us in limbo. That uncertainty leaves many clinicians wondering: What do I actually need to do right now?

This free clinician-focused info session and Q&A is designed to cut through the noise and give you practical steps you can use immediately — no matter what happens in Congress.

You’ll leave with clarity on:

  • What the [potential] new in-person visit rules means for both established and new Medicare teletherapy clients
  • Which clients are exempt (including those with mobility barriers, clinical contraindications, or substance use treatment) and how to document it
  • How the rules affect dual-eligible clients (Medicare + Medicaid) and what you need to know if you participate in both systems
  • HIPAA compliance requirements alongside Medicare/Medicaid participation — what’s really required, and what keeps you sustainable
  • Practical strategies to maintain continuity of care and client trust, even in times of policy change
  • How to navigate your options if you’re considering enrolling as a Medicare provider — or if you’re weighing opting out
  • Documentation and policy updates that make sure your practice is ready for any outcome.

How is this free?
