Our Progress Notes

It says "Dr Chrono"

Dr. Chrono is a web-based suite of practice management tools that includes faxing, scheduling, reminders, a patient portal, saved credit cards, and more. They offer a Business Associate Agreement, so HIPAA compliance with Dr. Chrono is possible. Their product is clearly geared towards group medical practices, and its price reflects that. Nevertheless, mental health clinicians do find themselves in group practices with doctors who are using Dr. Chrono. The company’s security policies contain actionable recommendations on best practices for maintaining the privacy of your clients’ records. Many of those suggestions seem remarkably similar to the guidance a certain website and newsletter have been giving you for years!

This product offers a free service tier or a free trial account:

We encourage all clinicians interested in this product to try out the free trial or experiment with the free tier to see if it suits your needs.

If you discover anything of concern that isn’t addressed in this review yet, please tell Liath about it at [email protected].
