“Document or it didn’t happen”

We’re guessing the late Roy Huggins said this 10 million times (give or take) in his 15 years consulting for his mental health professional colleagues.

Documentation is something that so few clinicians get training on, whether it’s in regard to clinical work, HIPAA compliance, or security management. It’s something that so many of us have had to make up as we go, and trial and error our way through it.

If you’re feeling like you’re bumbling through documentation — we have massive support for clinicians, leadership, and admin staff in clinical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and more.

Topical Training Discounted for Practice Care Premium Annual Subscribers

If you are subscribed to Practice Care Premium and you pay for the year upfront you save big $$. Not only on the annual subscription, (which is at least 2 months free when compared to paying month-by-month), but also on CE training discounts. Foundational HIPAA trainings are discounted on an evergreen basis, and one topical training rotates in each month at the discount so you can keep your CE needs caught up with interesting, engaging presentations.

This month, premium annual subscribers will get 25% off Dr. Maelisa Hall’s 1 CE hour presentation with PCT on insurance documentation. This highly supportive presentation is a lovely complement to her upcoming event, and is a perfect assignment for clinical staff. The 25% discount applies in the cart, so feel free to add as many copies as you require (group practices can assign trainings with our team tracking tools!).

If you haven’t upgraded to premium yet, be sure to check out our annual offerings. It not only is a one-and-done option but also ensures that we at PCT are able to give you the maximum discounts! Learn More.

Step Four: Risk Analysis and Mitigation Planning

See your good work reflected in a supportive, shame-free risk assessment that inspires the mitigation process.
Unlike any other risk analysis and mitigation services, you are met where you are, with a kind focus on the technical and practical aspects of security in your mental health practice.

For Solo Practitioners:

First time: Schedule a RARM with a PCT consultant and complete it (about 2 hours of consultation time.)

Ongoing: Schedule again when desired or necessary.

If you start the process at this step: Clinicians who desire to pursue formal HIPAA Security compliance can start here and then go on to Step 5 afterward. The activities of Step 5 will ensure that all the tasks of Steps 1-3 get completed while the clinician gets compliant.
